With 28 years of extensive knowledge of the publishing industry through working for Cahners Publishing, Dunn & Bradstreet and Reed International as an international Sales Director, Jobson Publishing as a Publisher and other world renowned publishing houses. With these attributes, Stuart Smith established SSM Global Media, which is one of the fastest growing independent media representation companies in the UK.
Mariette King - Sales Manager
Mariette is an extremely experienced international media sales professional, having spent more than 29 years in the international advertising sector. She has previously worked for 18 years as Sales Director for Publicitas, and 11 years at Smyth International. Mariette speaks French, Italian and Spanish and has worked across both print and online media in both the business and consumer sectors. Over the course of her career she has built strong relationships with many of London’s media agencies and brings a strong contact network with her.
Alex Harris - Admin Assistant/Sales Support
As our newest and youngest recruit, Alex joins SSM fresh from University where he acquired a 2.1 degree in Drama and Media Studies. He is looking forward to being actively involved in worldwide media sales and is planning to gain extensive experience of establishing and running market-leading publications across a diverse range of fields of business and countries. Alex's main contributions will lie within updating and maintaining the SSM website, supporting our sales team and cracking all the jokes!
Andrew Wilson - Finance Manager
With over 35 years of experience within accounts administration, tax, management finance, book keeping, account construction, audit and finance control, Andrew brings a multitude of skills and knowledge to SSM Global Media Limited.
Linda Tumbridge - Office Manager/PA
With over 35 years experience in the publishing, advertising and media sector Linda brings to SSM a vast and varied skill set, having worked for publications such as The Daily Telegraph, Today Newspaper and Independent Newspapers. Linda is a welcome addition to the team.
Laura Morales - Database Manager
Laura is the longest standing member and has been with SSM for over 6 years. Laura provides comprehensive database and email marketing solutions to SSM Global Media Limited.
