Quite apart from normal "run-of-paper" advertisements, there is a world of opportunity to make your message stand out from your competitor's. Here are just some ideas - but remember, we would be happy to discuss your ideas, and work hard to implement them even if the idea is a new one in the target market you wish to reach.

Some of the magazines will allow Front Cover promotion - anything ranging from cover-mounted CD, to logo placement, and on to special operations such as False Covers, Half-False Covers, Gatefold Covers, and Barn Door covers.

Another idea is that we can arrange for a custom-published insert to appear in many markets. For example if you are targeting the Manufacturing industry, we could have an insert written by a technical journalist ( and then translated, printed and inserted in any countries worldwide through the RBI network.

Special Positions: In addition to Cover 2, 3, and 4 - there are many other special positions some of which become available and others are booked long-term by established advertisers. Apart from Covers, valued positions such as Opposite Contents page, or Opposite editors Comment can be purchased, usually just for a very small extra charge compared to run-of-paper pricing. If you would like to try to obtain one of these valuable positions that attract more reader traffic, and then let SSM, know of your interest so that we can check what is available - or put you on the publisher waiting list for hot opportunities like this. Further, there are also other ways to create impact - such as unusual design advertisements or unusual position. These would include "earpiece" ads on the front cover of some tabloid publications, or slightly unusual shapes inside - again let us try to make some impact for your message, we will help you to innovate your marketing - which in turn will give you impact and therefore effectiveness.
